dc.description.abstract | The paper investigates how differences in infrastructure quality
may affect industrial location between countries. Employing a dualtechnology
model, the main result of the paper is the somewhat surprising
conclusion that an improvement in a country’s infrastructure
may weaken its locational advantage and induce a firm to locate production
in a country with a less efficient infrastructure. | en |
