dc.description.abstract | The call for crossdisciplinary research is having a stronger resonance in science and investigation. In this paper I
will argue that this also affects the study of terminology. By looking at the terminology of aquaculture, I will
show the multiple and heterogeneous origins of concepts in this field. This indicates a strong dynamism in
knowledge production of crossdisciplinary research. I will analyze the forces behind this phenomenon and what
forms it takes. This will be done from a terminological perspective with special attention given to aquaculture. | nb_NO |
